The WEIR is an exciting new lakeside coffee house and bistro incorporating an interactive wildlife centre. All of our food is cooked in our kitchens using only fresh ingredients sourced from the best local suppliers. The freshness of the food is matched only by the stunning interior of the restaurant with its fully glazed facade offering sweeping views down to the fishing lake.

Eat breakfast, lunch or supper at very affordable prices from our tantalising menu or just pop in for a freshly ground coffee and mouth-watering cake which you can eat on our sun-drenched patio or in front of our real log fire.

Your children are most welcome and will find plenty to do in the wildlife centre whilst you relax and catch up with friends and family. Informative displays, giant images and interactive screens will amuse and educate them about the terrestrial and marine wildlife in the local area whilst you can easily keep an eye on them from the comfort of your table or a comfy chair.

Once you have feasted on the delights served by our friendly staff you can take advantage of the walks around our farm in order to walk off your lunch and wear out the kids - perhaps timing it so you can squeeze in a cream tea before you head for home!

We are situated just off the A39, 3 miles south of Bude and the striking restaurant / wildlife centre building is easily visible from the road. There is plenty of parking for customers and there is full disabled access and facilities. We are also easily accessible from the Sustrans National Cycle Network, the Bude Canal footpath and are only a short walk from the Southwest Coast Path.
